Use this form to configure the NNTP ports and timeouts. You do not need to modify this form unless you have an unusual Internet setup. NNTP port The TCP port to exchange news on. Do not change the value unless advised to by your Internet Service Provider or news administrator. Default: 119 NNTP general timeout The time to wait for commands from an NNTP server or for a response after issuing an NNTP server a command, before disconnecting. Default: 5 NNTP greeting timeout The time to wait for an initial response after attempting a connection to an NNTP server, before disconnecting. Default: 3 NNTP data timeout The time to wait for news confirmations or for data during news reception before disconnecting. Default: 10 Top
