Which insect is the creepiest? Get your students to each research an insect they think is creepy and present their findings. Get them to examine such factors as climate, food, how the insect protects itself, and so on. If you want to add a twist, hold a vote at the end of the project to determine the creepiest insect, and award a prize.

STEP 1: Create the FirstClass environment.
1       Create a Creepy Crawlies conference in a location where students have access to it.
2       Give yourself Controller permissions and students Contributor permissions.
3       Create a document for each student. This is where students will record their information and put their projects together.
STEP 2: Outline the details.
Create a Details or Welcome document in the Creepy Crawlies conference. Include details such as the due date, the required information, resources that can or cannot be used, and presentation instructions.
STEP 3: Do presentations.
