KWL chart A KWL chart is given to students before a project starts. Once they know what the project is about, they complete the "I Know" and "I Want to Know" fields. When the project is complete, they submit the document with the "I Learned" field completed. This gives you an idea of how successful the project was, and may give you some ideas for next time.
